Vinfen Camping and Collaborating

Vinfen’s annual Clubhouse camping trip took place over Labor Day weekend at Camp Lyndon in Sandwich, MA.

More than 70 people from each of the seven Clubhouses participated in the event. Members engaged in fun activities like boating, hiking, swimming, archery, and even zip lining. In the evenings, members relaxed and enjoyed delicious s’mores and music around the campfire.

The event was a positive community-building experience and a way for staff and members from the different Clubhouses to meet. Cove Clubhouse Program Director Sabrina Kreber said, “the camping trip was interesting. It was nice to meet new people from the different clubs. I got a lot of new ideas to take back to our Club. I can’t believe how nice the weather was. We really lucked out.”

Clubhouse member Marc shared “I thought all the people had a good time. We had good food. The people were nice to each other. We exchanged ideas and learned from each other. The campfire was nice and we were like a family with all the Clubhouses.”

Another member, Shawn mentioned, “I am looking forward to doing it again next year!” Everyone involved had a wonderful time and this annual trip was quite enjoyable as an end of summer celebration.
