Erin Tighe, MA
As the Director of Communications and Development at Vinfen, Erin Tighe is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to communicate company mission, vision, goals, initiatives, and achievements; further company visibility; raise awareness; and drive funding. She oversees the company identity and brand alignment and defines the vision and editorial strategy for Vinfen websites, social media channels, special events, newsletters, print and email marketing, press releases, talking points, video scripts, fundraising appeals, donor communications, acknowledgements, and advertisements.
Prior to joining Vinfen, Ms. Tighe was a Senior Communication Associate at Health Resources in Action where she coordinated a variety of marketing campaigns for clients such as the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the DentaQuest Foundation, and Boston Children’s Hospital. Ms. Tighe worked as a Social Marketing Project Manager at Salter Mitchel managing multiple communication projects for clients such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the Pew Charitable Trusts. She has also consulted for the Justice Resource Institute. Ms. Tighe began her career working to increase awareness and raise funds for HIV/AIDS, with over 10 years of experience as the Communications and Special Events Manager at Community Research Initiative of New England, as a Program Associate at Management Sciences for Health, and as a Special Events Manager at the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts.
Ms. Tighe received her Master of Art in Health Communication from Emerson College in collaboration with Tufts University School of Medicine in 2007 and a Bachelor Arts in English Communications and Political Science from Emmanuel College in 2003.
