Join the Fall River Recovery Connection Center (RCC) for an Open House on Wednesday, May 3 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Fall River RCC provides peer services for people in recovery from psychiatric conditions and/or substance misuse. The RCC is run entirely for and by people with lived experience of psychiatric conditions and/or substance misuse; people who have been there and want to help others recover. Services utilize peer support, advocacy, referral, education, career coaching, job readiness, financial literacy, wellness, and social activities in a sensitive and person-centered manner. Members also have access to a phone and computers for learning basic computer skills, practice essay writing, resume building, or other school-and job-related purposes.
All services, groups, classes, and activities are free of charge. Peer staff can also help community members understand and access resources including Social Security, MassHealth, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, access passes, and public assistance.
Come by to see how your local Recovery Connection Center can help you or a loved one. Refreshments will be served, stories of recovery will be shared, and more!
To attend, please RSVP to Rachel Collins at 508-830-9417 or email@example.com. We hope to see you there!
