Vinfen will hold our 12th Annual Moving Images Film Festival, Meaningful Lives | Outside the Lines, on Saturday, March 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School.
This year’s event will explore the lives of people with psychiatric conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges through seven powerful and touching films: Fighter, Off the Rails, Bonnie and Myra, Asperger’s Are Us, Looking for Luke, I Jumped Off the Golden Gate Bridge, and Beyond Silence.
Films will be followed by three inspiring panel discussions featuring Stars of the Film Asperger’s Are Us Noah Britton, Ethan Finlan, and New Michael Ingemi; Star of the Film Beyond Silence Lloyd Hale; and Special Guests Michael Stewart Garfinkle, PhD, from Off the Rails, and Juliana Chen, MD, Executive Producer of Looking for Luke and Child Psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
CART Interpreter Services will be provided for panel discussions. Lunch will be served and parking at the venue is complimentary.
The event is free and open to the public, but a donation of $10 is suggested and appreciated. Donations can be made online or at the event.
