Vinfen’s 12th Annual Celebration of Family Partnerships @ Tiffany Ballroom at the Four Points Sheraton in Norwood
Oct 2 @ 5:45 pm – 9:00 pm

Vinfen will host the 12th Annual Celebration of Family Partnerships on October 2, 2019 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood, MA.

The event honors the extraordinary family members of the people we serve who are committed to advocacy; educational, vocational and leadership activities; and work tirelessly to improve services for people with psychiatric conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges. This event is an opportunity to raise awareness, reduce prejudice and discrimination, build partnerships to improve care, and encourage family and community involvement.

The evening will be hosted by former WCVB-TV’s Emmy-winning anchorwoman Susan Wornick. Keynote speaker Jordan Burnham is a nationally recognized speaker and advocate working to break down prejudice and discrimination of mental health challenges. He is a survivor of a suicide attempt during his senior year in high school and shares his powerful story of fighting depression and anxiety and finding recovery. Jordan has been featured on CNN, CBS, and ESPN.

Registration is required. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Kabilian at 781-626-5080 or kabiliana@vinfen.org.

The event is open to people with psychiatric conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges; their families and loved ones; staff at nonprofit health and human service organizations and state agencies; citizen advisory boards; and all those connected to the work that we do.

If you would like to join Vinfen as a sponsor in celebrating family partnerships, please contact Erin Tighe at 617-441-1736 or tighee@vinfen.org.
