TYPES OF NURSING POSITIONS AT VINFEN:

As a CNA, you can either assist in daily routine or episodic daily nursing aide care. Your work will be in a clinically intensive program that is tailored to meet the needs of a unique specialized population who have mental health conditionsintellectual and developmental disabilitiesbrain injuries, or behavioral health challenges and complex health needs. In your role you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives.

LPNs work in either small, comfortable residential settings or lively Day Habilitation programs to assist adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities, brain injury or behavioral conditions. The LPN assists by assessing each individual’s physical health needs and providing person centered clinical care.

The program nurse functions in a direct care nursing capacity and consults with other clinicians regarding health promotion and maintenance, medication administration, and acute and chronic medical/psychiatric crisis management for persons served.

The Clinical Care Manager (CCM) provides care coordination and clinical management for MassHealth members with complex medical and behavioral health needs. The CCM is at the helm of organizing and coordinating resources and services in response to the enrollee’s healthcare needs across multiple settings and inclusive of both LTSS and Social Determinants of Health (SDH) needs.

The team nurse promotes the full integration and functioning of the persons served that is needed to live a healthy life in the community. The team nurse coordinates access to and management of health care for the person receiving services in conjunction with Care Coordination entities and associated medical and behavioral health providers.

The prescribing nurse practitioner provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management utilizing a team approach to individuals experiencing mental health, substance use or co-occurring disorders.
