Music and Mission Take Center Stage at Jordan Hall

More than 120 Vinfen community members gathered at Jordan Hall for a performance by the Longwood Symphony Orchestra and Cambridge Common Voices, raising funds and support for Vinfen’s Health & Wellness Initiative.

Music, community, and mission came together on Friday, May 8, as more than 120 members of the Vinfen community gathered at Boston’s Jordan Hall for a special performance by the Longwood Symphony Orchestra (LSO) and special guests Cambridge Common Voices.

Composed largely of healthcare professionals, the Longwood Symphony Orchestra uses the power of music to support nonprofit organizations serving medically underserved communities through its Healing Art of Music concert series.

A highlight of the evening was the moving performance by Cambridge Common Voices, a Cambridge-based choir that brings together individuals of all musical backgrounds and abilities through community singing.

Vinfen became an LSO Community Partner more than a decade ago, and we were grateful to continue that longstanding relationship during an inspiring evening that raised $17,000 for Vinfen’s Health & Wellness Initiative, which supports programs that enhance the physical and mental well-being of the individuals we serve.

The evening also featured a sensory-friendly space, helping ensure the concert was welcoming and accessible for all members of our community.

We are deeply grateful to the Longwood Symphony Orchestra, Presenting Sponsor RSM, Gold Sponsor HUB International, and everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success.
