BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES

Vinfen offers a variety of outpatient prevention, intervention, and treatment services to help people with psychiatric conditions, behavioral health disabilities, and substance abuse challenges regain their health, work toward recovery, and reclaim their lives.

We provide a comprehensive array of services tailored to fit your needs. We offer community-based counseling services including assessment and evaluation, individual and group therapy, consultation, psychological testing, substance abuse counseling, behavior management, and psychopharmacology through our People Care Clinics and our partnership with the Massachusetts Mental Health Center.

COMMUNITY AND FAMILY COUNSELING SERVICES

Vinfen serves more than 2,000 people in the Greater Lowell area through our Community and Family Counseling Services. Our services help children, adults, couples, groups, and families cope with stress and difficult life experiences, experience personal growth, develop and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships, and learn effective life skills and strategies. Our psychiatrists, clinical nurse specialists, psychologists, clinical social workers, and mental health counselors work with people on a broad range of issues including anxiety and depression, panic disorders, divorce and separation issues, child and family concerns, school related problems, domestic violence, stress management, substance abuse, and employee assistance. We work in our clinic, at your child’s school, or at your home. We provide services without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, or origin. Services are available in English and Spanish.

We accept the following insurance: Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Boston Medical Center, Fallon Healthcare, Harvard Pilgrim, MassHealth, MassHealth HMOs, MBHP, Medicaid, Medicare, Neighborhood Health Plan, Network Health, Self-Pay, United Behavioral Health, and Value Options.

MASSACHUSETTS MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Vinfen provides licensed, professional staff to support the state-operated Continuing Care Out-Patient services at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center in Boston. These services provide psychiatric treatment to over 1,200 people each year and include individual, group and family therapy, case coordination, crisis intervention, psychopharmocology, and day programming.

PEOPLE CARE CLINIC

Vinfen’s People Care Clinic offers a wide range of services designed to help people with psychiatric conditions, behavioral health disabilities, and substance abuse challenges regain their health. Services are offered at our clinics in Lawrence, Cambridge, and Hyannis. We also provide a variety of community-based settings.
