Our Recovery Learning Centers (RLCs) provide peer services for people living with mental health conditions and/or substance use challenges. Everyone is welcomed at Vinfen’s RLCs.
Our RLCs are run entirely for and by people with lived experience of mental health conditions and/or substance use challenges; people who have been there and want to help others recover knowing that recovery is possible. Our services utilize peer support, advocacy, referral, education, career coaching, job readiness, financial literacy, wellness, and social activities in a sensitive and person-centered manner. Members also have access to a phone and computers for learning basic computer skills, practicing essay writing and resume building, and continued support with other school-and job-related purposes.
All services, groups, classes, and activities are free of charge. Peer staff can also help community members understand and access resources including Social Security, MassHealth, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, access passes, and public assistance.
