Melissa currently serves as Vice President, Controller at Vinfen, a role she assumed in January 2026 after more than a decade of progressive leadership within the organization. Since joining Vinfen in 2014 as Finance Supervisor, she has advanced through roles of Assistant Controller and Controller, taking on increasing responsibility for managing all aspects of accounting operations. She oversees the monthly financial close process, accounting internal controls, fiscal year-end close, external audits and related financial reporting, and regulatory filings including UFR submissions and tax returns. Melissa works closely with Revenue Cycle, FP&A, and senior leadership to ensure cohesive financial oversight that supports the organization’s strategic goals.

Throughout her tenure, Melissa has ensured compliance with complex reporting requirements and led successful external audits, while providing steady leadership during periods of transition within the finance department. She is deeply committed to Vinfen’s mission and is known for fostering strong, collaborative relationships across departments. Melissa strives to bridge the gap between finance and operations, promoting a supportive and transparent working environment that strengthens the organization as a whole.

Prior to joining Vinfen, Melissa worked as a Senior Auditor at Edelstein & Company, now EisnerAmper, where she provided auditing and accounting services to privately held companies, primarily tax-exempt organizations including health advocacy groups. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Finance from Suffolk University and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. She has also previously served as Treasurer for a nonprofit organization.
