Sometimes, greater independence can begin with something as simple as turning on a light. 

Patricia, who lives in one of Vinfen’s residential programs, recently worked with Occupational Therapist Jill Hartmann to find a way to control the lights in her room on her own. The solution was a Lotus Ring, an assistive technology device that now allows Patricia to turn her lights on and off independently. 

It is a small change with a meaningful impact.
