It was an invigorating and inspiring celebration of creativity, community, and conversation on May 31, when Vinfen’s Gateway Arts hosted its annual fundraiser, Art Works, at our Brookline Village studios. The event featured delicious food and drink, incredible art of all kinds, and wonderful company.   

Art Works brought together artists, supporters, and community partners to celebrate a year of growth, creativity, and connection at Gateway Arts. Guests enjoyed delicious food from Chef Ana Sortun and Sofra Bakery & Café, as well as wines and beers generously donated from Vineyard Road and Samuel Adams, respectively. From powerful remarks to collaborative art-making, the event showcased the talent and impact of Gateway artists while raising critical support for programs that make artistic opportunity and belonging possible. 

We welcomed over 150 guests, raised over $120,000 in philanthropic revenue, and sold nearly $3,000 in artwork. All proceeds from purchased art works provide essential funds to support Gateway’s mission, providing professional support and representation to adult artists with disabilities. We are grateful to all who attended and supported our artists and program.
