RSVPMental Health And Substance Use Crisis Support Is Just A Phone Call Away.
Vinfen Behavioral Health (VBH) has expanded its community services to include a new Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) located in Lowell. In addition to urgent and routine outpatient services, the CBHC provides crisis intervention services to support individuals and families in a variety of new ways. We provide around-the-clock, 24/7 mental health and substance use evaluation and assessment to children, youth, and adults in crisis or in need of support. Instead of going to the emergency room, services can be provided to you over the phone, in your home, at school, or in another community setting.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, please contact our locally-based crisis intervention services team.
Same-day and next-day services and expanded service hours are currently available. Serving youth (4-18) and adults. To learn more about our outpatient services, click here.
VBH Outpatient services include:
VBH’s Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) provides a 24/7/365 mobile response in the home, school, workplace, or other community settings for youth and adults experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. Clinicians work with the individual in crisis and, when appropriate, family members or other supportive people in their lives.
VBH MCI services include:
VBH’s Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program provides assessment and stabilization through short-term 24-hour treatment for youth and adults experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis in a structured, home-like, and supportive environment. The CCS youth and adult programs are distinct and separate.
VBH CCS services include:
Long waitlists and limited resources can make finding support for a mental health and/or substance use crisis difficult. Vinfen’s Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) of Greater Lowell is helping to expand access to care for the communities we serve. To view this video in Spanish, click here.
