VINFEN WELCOMES NEW CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER IVETTE ARIAS

We are delighted to announce the hiring of Ivette Arias, MHRM, as Vinfen’s new Chief People Officer. In this role, Ms. Arias will lead the organization’s human resources department, overseeing all aspects of HR management, training and compliance for the organization, as well as continuing to expand upon the department’s robust engagement, recognition, wellness, and DEI functions for Vinfen employees.

Arias is a seasoned human resources professional, with extensive expertise in directing complex HR functions for healthcare and social services organizations. She comes to Vinfen from the Pine Street Inn in Boston, where she spent just over two years as Vice President of Human Capital for the well-known provider of homelessness services. Prior to that, Arias held high-level HR positions with organizations including the Codman Square Health Center, the Lynn Community Health Center, and Commonwealth Care Alliance.

“Throughout my career, I have been focused on working with diligence, compassion and sensitivity in the field of human resources,” said Arias. “Vinfen is an organization with a wonderful reputation for the vitally important work it does every day, and a key to the success of that work is our caring and professional workforce. I am excited by the opportunity to support our employees, so they can continue to provide exceptional services while furthering their own professional growth.”

“We’re so pleased to have Ivette joining our organization in this leadership role,” said Jean Yang, President and CEO of Vinfen. “Vinfen is dedicated to supporting our amazing workforce, so finding the right person to lead our human resources team and guide those supports was of paramount importance to us. We’re confident that Ivette will put her professional experience to work on behalf of our staff, and that she’ll play a critical role in fostering our culture of compassionate service and collaboration here at Vinfen.”

Arias holds an associate’s degree in business administration and management from Roxbury Community College, a bachelor’s degree in public policy and community studies from the University of Massachusetts at Boston, and a master’s degree in human resources management from Emmanuel College.
