VINFEN’S MOVING IMAGES FILM FESTIVAL

Each year, Vinfen uses the power of film to raise awareness, foster dialogue, and fight prejudices and discrimination often faced by people with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges.

The Film Festival’s program includes both feature-length and short films, followed by inspirational and educational panels. Panelists include stars from the films, staff, and other content experts as audience questions are answered and important conversations are had.

Moving Images has drawn interest from all over Massachusetts and other neighboring states, with numbers reaching over 500 attendees each year. In 2021, Vinfen shifted the event to be held in an entirely virtual format, however this event is usually held in person locally in Boston, MA.

Audience members include professionals looking to earn continuing education credit hours, Vinfen staff, community partner organizations, the people we serve, families, friends, and supporters of the Vinfen community. The day is a unique opportunity to see incredible films, learn about various topics, and network with peers.
