Vinfen Medical Director Don Condie, MD, recently received Massachusetts Psychiatric Society’s 2021 Outstanding Psychiatrist Award for Public Sector Psychiatry for his support and advocacy of people with mental health conditions and developmental disabilities within the public sector.

Vinfen President and CEO Dr. Bruce L. Bird shared, “It’s a pleasure for me to see Don recognized. I have long admired his activities representing Massachusetts Psychiatric Society in advocacy on regulatory policies, funding, and legislation, which are so important to our entire service system. He spends many hours outside of his role as Medical Director in these critically important activities, and it is great to see him recognized for this by his peers.”

Dr. Condie was previously President of the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society between 2011 – 2012 and is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA).
