Our Recovery Connection Centers (RCCs) and Recovery Learning Centers (RLCs) provide peer services for people living with mental health conditions and/or substance use challenges. Everyone is welcomed at Vinfen’s Peer Recovery Centers.
Our RCCs and RLCs are run entirely for and by people with lived experience of mental health conditions and/or substance use challenges; people who have been there and want to help others recover knowing that recovery is possible. Our services utilize peer support, advocacy, referral, education, career coaching, job readiness, financial literacy, wellness, and social activities in a sensitive and person-centered manner. Members also have access to a phone and computers for learning basic computer skills, practicing essay writing and resume building, and continued support with other school-and job-related purposes.
All services, groups, classes, and activities are free of charge. Peer staff can also help community members understand and access resources including Social Security, MassHealth, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, access passes, and public assistance.
Vinfen’s Cambridge/Somerville Recovery Learning Center (CSRLC) promotes, supports, and empowers people to go back to school or work or to engage and participate in other aspects of their lives more fully. It is a peer recovery and support program that instills and fosters hope and resilience for all members. CSRLC is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. The Center is a partner in the Metro Boston Recovery Learning Community, where people with lived experience of mental health conditions join together to promote their recovery.
Vinfen’s Fall River Recovery Connection Center (RCC) provides friendship, connections, and education for individuals at any stage of recovery. Fall River RCC is a partner of the Southeast Recovery Learning Community. This RCC is run by Vinfen and funded by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.
